Folder maker
Make a whole set of folders in one go: for family documents, your business, clients or photos. Pick a ready structure, change it, then make the folders on your computer or download them. Nothing is ever replaced or deleted. Free, no sign-up.
How it works
- Pick a ready structure: Family documents, Small business, Accountant, Tuition centre, Student, Photos by year or Project, or start empty.
- Change it: rename, add, move and remove folders. Add a 📝 note to say what goes in a folder; it’s saved inside as “_About this folder.txt”.
- Repeat for each: make the same folders for every family member, client, student, year or month. Type the names once and each gets the full set. Add a name later and only their folders are added.
- Make the folders: in Chrome or Edge on a computer, choose where and they’re made straight away. Or download a ZIP and drag the folder out of it to where you want.
Safe to use on folders you already have
- Wah-Kit only adds folders that are missing. Folders and files already there are left exactly as they are, and nothing is deleted.
- Before making anything it tells you how many are new and how many are already there, and you can make a fresh copy instead.
- If the browser closes halfway, just do it again: what was made is kept and only the rest is added.
- Names that Windows doesn’t allow (like a “:” or “CON”) are pointed out before anything is made.
- Your folders are made in your browser; your files never come to Wah-Kit. Only a structure you share by link, or save to My structures, is kept on Wah-Kit.
