These terms apply when you use Wah-Kit at wah-kit.com. By using the site you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use Wah-Kit.
Who we are: Wah-Kit is an independent online service. In these terms, “Wah-Kit”, “we” and “us” mean the operator of Wah-Kit, who can be reached at [email protected].
1. What Wah-Kit is
Wah-Kit provides tools to format and prepare WhatsApp messages, and to keep your own contacts and message templates. Wah-Kit never sends messages itself: it opens WhatsApp on your device with a message ready, and you choose whether to send it, one message at a time. Wah-Kit is an independent service and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by WhatsApp, Meta, Telegram or Microsoft. “WhatsApp”, “Telegram”, “Microsoft Word” and other product names are trademarks of their respective owners and are used only to describe what our tools work with.
2. Your account
- You sign in with your Google account and are responsible for activity on your Wah-Kit account.
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your country, to create an account.
- Keep the information you save accurate, and save only contacts you are entitled to keep.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Wah-Kit to:
- send marketing, advertising or promotional messages to people who have not asked to hear from you;
- send spam, or messages to people who have not agreed to hear from you;
- message contacts from bought, rented or scraped lists;
- harass, threaten, deceive or defraud anyone;
- break any law, or WhatsApp’s own terms of service;
- interfere with the site, attempt to access other users’ data, or misuse our systems.
Wah-Kit is meant for messages to people you already have a relationship with, such as your students and their parents, your club members or your customers: for example fee or bill reminders, appointment reminders and greetings. We may close accounts that use it otherwise.
Business pages. A business page (wah-kit.com/b/…) is public: anyone with the link can see it. It must be for a real business or activity that you run or are allowed to represent. Do not use another business’s or organisation’s name, logo or identity, do not pretend to be a bank, government body or well-known brand, and do not use a page to collect passwords or payments under false pretences or to offer anything illegal. Page addresses are first come, first served; we may change or remove an address that misleads people or that another business has a clear right to. We may take down any page that breaks these rules, including after a report from a visitor.
WhatsApp may restrict accounts that send too many messages or are reported as spam. Messages you send through Wah-Kit are sent from your own WhatsApp account, and you are responsible for them.
4. Free and paid plans
The text formatter and the link & QR maker are free for everyone. A free account can save up to 10 contacts and 2 templates of its own. Paid plans (Starter and Pro) give higher limits and extra features, as described on our pricing page. The free plan will remain available.
4a. Payments and subscriptions
- Payments are processed by Stripe. Paid plans are sold through Link, Stripe’s merchant of record service, which collects the payment, handles any sales tax, VAT or GST, sends receipts and helps with payment questions. Link’s own terms also apply to your purchase. On your bank or card statement the payment appears as “LINK.COM* WAH-KIT.COM”.
- Paid plans are subscriptions, billed monthly or yearly in advance as you choose, and renew automatically until you cancel. The price, including any tax, is shown before you pay.
- You can cancel at any time from “Manage billing”. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for and is not renewed. If you change plan, the difference is charged or credited proportionally.
- If a renewal payment fails, we may move your account to the free plan. Your saved contacts and templates are kept; you just cannot add more than the free plan allows.
- We may change prices for future periods. We will tell you before a new price applies to your subscription, so you can cancel first if you wish.
4b. Refund policy
The full refund policy is also on its own page: wah-kit.com/refunds.
If Wah-Kit isn’t right for you, you can ask for a full refund within 14 days of your first payment for a subscription. Email [email protected], or contact Link support through your receipt, and we will refund you. After 14 days, payments are not refundable, but you can cancel at any time to stop future payments. This does not affect any rights you have under the consumer laws of your country.
5. Your content
Messages you write and contacts you save remain yours. You give us permission to store and process your saved data only so that we can provide the service to you. See our Privacy Policy.
6. Availability and changes
We work to keep Wah-Kit running smoothly, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”. We may change, add or remove features, and we may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent allowed by law, Wah-Kit is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for messages sent or not sent, for actions taken by WhatsApp on your account, or for loss of data. Please keep your own copy of important contacts; you can export them from your account.
8. Ending your use
You can stop using Wah-Kit and delete your account at any time from your account page.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continuing to use Wah-Kit after a change means you accept the updated terms.
