Voice Studio
Record a voice message or open an audio file. Cut out mistakes, re-record a part, add a little echo, and save it as an MP3 to send on WhatsApp. Everything happens on your own device: nothing is uploaded.

- On a phone, Share opens your share menu: choose WhatsApp, then the person or group.
- On a computer, Save MP3, then attach the file in WhatsApp Web or WhatsApp for desktop (π β Document or Audio).
- Tap on the waveform to place the cursor (where playing starts). Drag across it to select a part.
- To find the exact spot, play at 0.5Γ or 0.25Γ and tap Mark start and Mark end as you hear it. Tapping Stop leaves the cursor where you stopped; β 0.1s and 0.1s βΆ fine-tune it.
- Copy, Cut and Paste work like in a document: Paste goes in at the cursor, or replaces the selected part.
- To use a part of another audio file, tap Insert from another file: select the part in the second waveform, then Copy it (and Paste in your recording), or tap Insert at cursor / Replace selection directly.
- Continue recording adds more at the end. New recording starts again from scratch, and Delete recording clears it.
- Made a mistake? Select it and tap Delete selection, or Re-record selection to say it again: youβll hear the last 2 seconds first, then a 3-2-1.
- Echo and Hall sound work on the selected part, or on the whole recording if nothing is selected. Tap Preview first.
- For the best sound, use earphones with a microphone and record in a quiet room.
MP3 saving uses the LAME encoder (LGPL, via lamejs).
